Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the East Coast. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the achievement of Hultec’s and Rieberlok’s strategic objectives to enhance sales to existing distribution channels in the region. As our Regional Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to participate in relevant trade shows, provide valuable insights regarding competition, sales strategy, pricing, and other relevant market information. Experience in the waterworks industry is desired.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Expand the network of distributors purchasing RieberLok within the designated region.
  • Proactively identify and engage with water districts and consulting engineers, arranging, and delivering presentations to secure RieberLok specifications.
  • Promote, sell, specify, and provide comprehensive product education on RieberLok and Hultec offerings to distributors, water districts, contractors, and consulting engineers.
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with distributors in the region.
  • Address the needs of customers (distributors, contractors, engineers, districts, and inspectors) effectively.
  • Support job-related inquiries and drive activity within the assigned territory.
  • Submit a weekly written itinerary and regular reports on territory activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships in the region to gather insightful market intelligence.
  • Keep management informed of market conditions and track and report market share within the region.
  • Assess competitors' market penetration and develop appropriate countermeasures.
  • Propose changes necessary to enhance customer loyalty and expand market share while ensuring market stability and transparency.
  • Direct, train, engage, and evaluate manufacturer's representatives to align with responsibilities and objectives.
  • Review and establish annual plans for manufacturer's representatives, identifying areas for improvement or replacement as needed.
  • Develop an annual territory budget and sales plan to achieve budgetary targets.
  • Monitor and report market share trends in the region.
  • Communicate pricing changes with manufacturer's representatives and customers.
  • Establish a distinct brand identity for RieberLok apart from wholesalers.
  • Visit territories as outlined in the Sales Plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, or equivalent work experience, coupled with extensive experience in product distribution.
  • Previous involvement in related industries with a focus on product distribution and management.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and surpassing targets.
  • Ability to assess competitive markets accurately and relay findings to Sales Management to mitigate revenue loss.
  • Proficiency in managing a diverse sales representative force across a wide geographic area.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to engage with key stakeholders, including distributors, contractors, engineers, and water districts.
  • Must be in the Eastern Coast
