Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. Work closely with Maintenance Manager, machine operators, and other technicians to ensure equipment reliability. Install and configure new electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in compliance with codes and safety standards. Assist with our move from Fort Worth to Spring Texas and able to travel as needed to Fort Worth until move is finalized.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and components.
  • Assist in decommission and factory move to Houston TX
  • Replace worn or defective wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical parts.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and components.

  • Replace worn or defective wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical parts.
  • Program, calibrate, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with control panels and electrical controls.
  • Document changes to electrical schematics and control programs when approved by Maintenance Manager
  • Report equipment status and recommend improvements to Management Team
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures and electrical emergencies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Reliability and attention to detail
  • Problem-Solving and Technical analysis
  • Experience with wiring schematics
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
  • Familiarity with CNC and Lathe Machines
  • Component level troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical schematics
  • Experience with automated systems and PLCs
  • Safety awareness
  • Certified Electrician is a plus

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Wear protective safety equipment
  • May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
  • Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shift
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
