Job Summary:
As the Market Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product lines across the global water infrastructure and energy sectors. You will be responsible for defining the product value proposition, conducting comprehensive market analysis, and actively engaging with internal and external customers. Your goal will be to ensure our products meet diverse market needs and maintain a competitive edge by leveraging technical assessments and customer feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work alongside various marketing teams to understand business goals and ensure data analytics initiatives support these objectives and drive results.
- Support Market Data Rollouts: Assist in the deployment, upgrades, and maintenance of market data applications, ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth data analysis using tools such as Excel to generate insights, answer specific business questions, and address data needs from clients, account managers, and product teams.
- Develop Analytics and Scorecards: Design and implement scorecards, dashboards, and other metrics using Excel to measure the impact of customer experience initiatives. Continuously update and refine these metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Product and Market Insights: Use Excel for detailed data analysis, including forecasting, pivot tables, and data visualization, to deliver valuable insights into market trends and product performance.
- Data Requirements Translation: Translate business and marketing objectives into actionable data requirements, ensuring analytical solutions align with current and future needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, engineering or a related field.
- Preferred experience in product marketing, preferably in industrial sectors.
- Capability to analyze market data and convert complex technical information into effective strategic plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
- This role involves frequent interaction with internal teams and external customers across different industries.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows.
