Position Title: Customer Service Manager

Reports To: Sr. Commercial Distribution Manager

Job Summary

S&B Technical Products is a Hultec Group Company, where our core business is pipe sealing systems – elastomeric/runner products or the waterworks industry. We are the largest supplier of pipe seals in the North American market. We are looking for a customer service person to join our fast-paced team in The Woodlands. This role will report to our Sr. Commercial Distribution Manager and will need to be a quick learner of our customers and our product. A person must have ERP experience and have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office products, especially excel. Excellent customer service regarding pricing, availability and delivery, order placement and inquiries. Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Customer Service

  • Managing and developing current customer service reps and future hires
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and bridge the gaps by advising best practices and processes
  • Participate in the implementation of the new Global Shop
  • Entering customer orders into the Global Shop ERP system.
  • Reestablish Customer Services processes with new implementation, and document process and activity for customer service department
  • Develop and execute trainings to the customer service team
  • Responsible for running reports and metrics by using excel pivot tables and v-look ups.
  • Following up with customers on orders and quotes for lead times and prices changes.
  • Handle all escalations from customer service team with a quick resolution.
  • Coordinate with key internal personnel to complete various sections of the quotes and drive to completion.
  • Identifying potential problems ahead of time and coordinating with customers and the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products.
  • Interface with salesmen and Costa Rica staff on a constant basis to ensure inventory levels are kept at optimum levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Experience with B2B customer service
  • Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills
  • High understanding of ERP and CRM systems
  • Able to follow through projects to completion
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management while maintaining a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficient with MS Word and Power Point. and utilize Excel at an advanced level.
  • Work well in a fast paced, time sensitive and deadline orientated environment.
  • Project Management training and experience is a plus.
